The time has come for us to move out of Cold Spring Farm and into 11 Sandisfield!
While I am very excited about this transition, the house is much further behind than I wanted it to be at this point.
We've succeeded in getting most of the old, cheap, and sometimes mold-laden wood cabinets out of the kitchen. We've knocked out most of the wall between the bathroom off the current kitchen and the library room.
We've pulled most of the mortar down from the walls in the dinning room and downstairs bedroom and exposed large sections of the exterior walls in the new addition of the house.
Today, we pile in all the junk we've accumulated over the past few months...
It's amazing to think that when I came out to Massachusetts, all I had with me was what I could fit in a 2001 Saturn SL-1!
Over the next few days, I hope to finish some of the projects I started to restore the few good bits of furniture that were left in the house as part of the sale.
I'll also have to make quick work of getting a bathroom in place for Anna and I to enjoy. Our current one isn't pretty...
Looks like all this hard work has Anna tuckered out ;)
